On March 31, 2025, NetDragon Websoft Inc., a global leader in internet community creation, and Harvard Asia Academy (HAA) formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement at the Thailand National Digital Buddhism Innovation and Research Center. The signing ceremony was attended by Mi Xiong, General Manager of NetDragon’s Digital Religion Division and CEO of the Thailand National Digital Buddhism Innovation and Research Center, alongside Dr. Wacharawit Keeratidustiroj, Chairman of HAA, and Ms. Patlita Keeratidustiroj, General Manager of HAA.

The partnership will focus on advancing digital transformation in Thai Buddhism by leveraging the strengths of both entities in digital technology, education and training, research, and academic development. As a leading consulting firm in the Asean region, HAA has established itself as a core driver of Thailand’s national Buddhist digitalization training through its deep market insights and global technological network. To date, the academy has provided digital training to over 400 monks from various temples in Thailand, laying a solid foundation for the Buddhist community to adapt to the information age.

During the signing ceremony, Mi Xiong, Dr. Wacharawit Keeratidustiroj, and Ms. Patlita Keeratidustiroj discussed key areas of cooperation, including the Thailand National Digital Buddhism APP system, Digital Temple All-in-One System, the latest Rokid product series, digital Buddhism curriculum training, and Buddhist Smart Classrooms (Pumi Large Screen). The goal is to develop advanced digital solutions to modernize Buddhist education and management in Thailand.

Digitalization represents a critical trend for the future of Thai Buddhism, and this partnership marks a significant milestone in accelerating Buddhist digitalization in Thailand and Southeast Asia.
